Radiation Shielding E-mail
With the constant improvement in Diagnostic Imaging equipment, Gibbs Wilson has kept abreast with the latest Radiation Shielding regulations and requirements.  Typically lead and leaded glass is used to create the radiation barrier and must be installed properly to ensure that there are no leaks, whether it be by screw penetrations, or obstructions such as electrical outlets, med gas valves, or other potential penetrations.  Over the years we have developed techniques and procedures to meet these challenges in our quest to create a zero leakage room.

We have the resources and skilled staff required to construct procedure rooms that meet or surpass MOH shielding requirements, providing a safe environment for staff and patients.   Having completed numerous new and renovated spaces, we have the techniques, and skill set to meet any site conditions.  If required, we can assist your staff in gathering site condition information required for MOH radiation submissions.
